Snapdragon 820 Benchmark (Geekbench 3)

Snapdragon 820 Geekbench 3 Bechmark scoreSome days ago we informed that Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 scored over 2300 in Geekbench 3 benchmark test, and now Snapdragon 820 sample phone showed up that makes previous leak true. This sample model with Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 820 Chipset scored 2353 in single-core performance, and 5466 in multi-core. It is running Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

However, Snapdragon 820 has been rumored to be clocked at high frequency exclusively for Samsung Galaxy S7. It will help Samsung to compete other brands as benchmark score has become quite important these days. Users rely on benchmark to understand how a device could perform, and then they make decision whether they should buy or not. Samsung Galaxy S7 Benchmark with Snapdragon has been leaked to be 2456 in Single-core performance and 5423 in multi-core.

Snapdragon 820 Benchmark (Antutu)

Snapdragon 820 Antutu 6 benchmarkEarlier Xiaomi Mi 5 benchmark scored was leaked that scored 101339 on Antutu, and now A sample model with Snapdragon 820 showed up on Antutu that scored 131648.

Snapdragon 820 is getting quite close to Apple A9 benchmark in terms of single-core score, and in multi-core it scores even more.

Snapdragon 820 tops in the test on Antutu v6.0. However, this is sample model, and the real life score would be different for sure, but there is great improvement in terms of performance.

There are more than 70 models in queue that will feature Snapdragon 820 chip. It terms of performance, Qualcomm has mentioned that Snapdragon 820 will have 30 percent reduced power consumption, 2 times faster CPU and 40 percent faster GPU performance. It will also allow to capture better picture even in low light.
