Uploaded photos or images selected by the user
Text extracted from uploaded images through OCR

Uploaded photos are used to extract math text or related problem text. Typed questions and extracted OCR text are sent to our server so the math solver can generate a step-by-step answer.
You should not upload private documents, ID cards, passwords, financial documents, medical records, personal photos, or any sensitive personal information into the math solver or OCR tool.
The Math Grapple Android app does not require camera, microphone, contacts, SMS, or precise location permission. Photo upload works only when the user chooses an image from the device.
Our math solver and OCR features require internet access and do not work fully offline.

We use math solver and OCR data to:
Read math from uploaded images

These requests are needed to solve problems and extract text from images. The app is online-only.
