LeTV Max 2 is one of the smartphones that would arrive with Snapdragon 820. However, Qualcomm has kept on hold to all smartphone manufacturers. The were supposed to launch Snapdragon 820 chip by the end of 2015, but recent rumor suggests that they are still optimizing it, and will be launched in early 2016. Snapdragon 820 is based on 14nm FinFET and Qualcomm promises for great performance. Recently, they tested V3 version of its chip, and Snapdragon 820 benchmark score was quite impressive. It scored 2032 in single-core and 5910 in multi-core performance.
Some rendering images of LeTV Max 2 has appeared via Weibo Social Network, The rendering image shows a great design. It features a curved display at the edge, like Galaxy S6 Edge, and the metal body is also curved at its all corners. There is only one camera that can be used as rear as well as front camera. It can be moved horizontally towards any direction you want. However, It’s not what LeTV has designed, but the expected design made by third person. So the real design could be different when it’s officially launched.
As far as tech specs are concerned, LeTV Max 2 is expected to feature a 5.7 inches Quad HD display (2560 X 1440 pixels), 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM (expandable with MicroSD card), Quad-core 64-bit 2.2 GHz Snapdragon 820 SoC, Quick Charge 3.0, 21-megapixel camera etc.. What do you think about taking selfie with 21-megapixel camera and LED Flash? It’s going to be the sharpest selfie you have ever captured. However, due to delay in Snapdragon 820 launch, it is expected to hit the stores in the first quarter of 2016.
