Online Guitar: Play, Record and Download
Explore a full virtual guitar fretboard with three sounds, note highlighting, tuner tones, local recording and WAV download.
The guitar needs landscape mode to keep every string and fret playable.
Learn the guitar neck by playing it
This virtual guitar provides six strings and a full fretboard for exploring notes, scales, intervals, and chord shapes. Click or tap any fret to hear it, watch the string respond, and use the note-highlighting controls to reveal patterns across the neck. The interface is designed for exploration as well as quick musical sketches.
Choose a guitar voice and tuner tone
Switch between acoustic, country steel, and electric recordings to compare three different characters. The built-in tuner section repeats an open-string reference tone, helping you tune a physical guitar by ear or learn how the six open strings relate to one another.
Mark, play, and record ideas
Enable Mark to build a scale or chord shape directly on the fretboard. Play the marked notes back, clear them for a new exercise, or record a live phrase. Completed takes can be replayed and downloaded as WAV files without sending the audio to a server.
Useful for players and teachers
Beginners can locate notes and see repeating pitch patterns, while experienced players can sketch voicings or demonstrate a scale during a lesson. Left-handed mode mirrors the instrument, fullscreen mode provides more room, and the responsive layout keeps every string accessible on touch devices. It is a practical companion when a physical guitar is not nearby.
