Please note that iPhone 7 and 7 Plus both features Apple A10 Fusion quad-core processor, but it appears as dual-core on all Benchmarking test. 2 Cores are clocked at 2.3 GHz, but rest 2 are low powered core that Benchmarking app doesn’t count.

  • Galaxy Note 7 : 2026

Multi-Core GeekBench Benchmark Score

  • iPhone 7 Plus : 5645
  • iPhone 7 : 5611
  • Galaxy Note 7 : 5617

iPhone 7 Plus doesn’t seem to get more advantage with +1 GB RAM compared to iPhone 7. It seems GeekBench is wise enough to test performance based on CPU and system optimization, else iPhone 7 or Galaxy Note 7 would have scored much more compared to iPhone 7. MW Technology has performed battery life and Graphic Performance Tests on iPhone 7 Plus as well as Note 7. He played the same video on both the devices to find out which one plays it for longer. Note 7 played it for 1 hour longer compared to iPhone 6s Plus. However, please note that WiFi and Bluetooth both were turned off. Real Life battery Comparison may have different result. Most of the Battery in any smartphone is consumed because of WiFi/Data and GPS.

Water Resistant Test : iPhone 7 & 7 Plus vs Galaxy Note

iPhone 7 and iPhone 7 Plus both are IP67 rated, and Galaxy Note 7 is IP68 Rated. So Galaxy S7 means to survive under 1.5-meter deep water, and iPhone should survive under 1-meter deep water for up to 30 minutes. However, water damaged iPhones are not covered under warranty.
