Sony Xperia Z1, Z Ultra and Z1 Compact Receiving New Update to Fix the Sound Bug
The Japanese company Sony has just officially released a new update that fixes the sound problem recently detected in some units Sony Xperia Z1, Sony Xperia Z Ultra and Sony Xperia Z1 Compact. This is an official update that has arrived with the build number of 14.3.A.0.757 , and the only goal of this new update is to fix the sound bug that caused problems while playing songs or videos in these Xperia Smartphones.
The update aims to reach everyone, but for now we have only a limited list of countries that are getting update at present. If you belong to Sweden, Slovenia, Netherlands,Poland, Austria, Germany and Hungary, and you are the owner of Sony Xperia Z1, you must have received the update notification, and if not, please check it manually.
Sony Xperia Z Ultra owners from Germany and UK are received updates, and in case of Sony Xperia Z1 Compact users from Austria, Philippines, Germany, Israel, Russia, France, China, Poland and Italy are receiving updates at this time.
Now, what happens to countries that have not received the updates? They need to have patience, that’s all can be done at this time. They will release the update for sure, but can take some time.
All users who want to check if you already have the update available for download can follow these simple steps:
- First we have to go to the settings of your mobile. This can be found in the list of programs (menu) along with the applications we have installed. If you face difficulty, look for the gear icon.
- Once inside the application, the next thing to do is click on the option “About Phone.“
- Once you click on the About Phone option you will get all the details of your device along with the build number, and I have already mentioned the new build number, so check the version here and check for the updates and follow the instruction to complete the installation.
