Update

Doogee F7 has gone official now. However, there are little change in the specs. The device we expected to be Doogee F7, that turned out to be Doogee F7 Pro. It was showcased at MWC 2016. There are 2 models of Doogee F7.

Doogee F7 Pro

Doogee F7 Pro features the same specs we mentioned earlier, but the device features Full HD rather than 2K that was expected. Doogee F7 Pro features a 5.7 inches Full HD (1080 pixels ) Display, 4GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 21-megapixel rear camera, 13-megapixel front camera, 4000 mAh battery, Mediatek Helio X20 deca-core CPU etc.. The device runs Android Marshmallow OS.

Doogee F7

Doogee F7 is a downgraded variant of Pro version. It features the same Mediatek Helio X20 CPU, but comes with 5.5 inches Full HD Display, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM, 16 MP rear, 8MP front camera, 3600 mAh battery etc.. It also runs Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Both the models are expected to go on sale in April with a price tag of around $170 for Doogee F7 and $200 for Doogee F7 Pro.

Update : We got in touch with one of the Doogee representative about the launch of Doogee F7, and they informed that they will start selling it in the second quarter, probably in April or May of this year, but the will announce it on Feb 23, 2016. So they can’t be the first company to sale Smartphone with Helio X20 with the time frame.

Update : One of the Doogee insider has informed that Doogee F7 will be announced on Feb 23, 2016, and the event will take place in the red building (opposite to MWC exhibition). This would be the world’s first smartphone to feature Helio X20 deca-core chipset.

Doogee has managed to earn some name recently launching some great devices. They are adopting Xiaomi’s business policy. They have launched great smartphones at affordable price, like Doogee F5 and Doogee Ibiza F2, and now they are ready with Doogee F7.

Doogee will launch a high-end smartphone that will arrive in early 2016. It will be known as Doogee F7, and this could be the first smartphone to use Mediatek Helio X20 deca-core chipset. We will tell you everything we know about Doogee F7 smartphone so far.

Doogee F7 Technical Specifications

Doogee F7 smartphones will have almost everything that you can expect from a high-end smartphone. It will feature a 5.7 inches display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution. We have come to know that Doogee would also use pressure touch technology in its display, and this technology is expected to found in many smartphones in 2016. Doogee F7 would also carry a powerful graphene battery, and the device would be around 7 mm think.

As far as other specs are concerned, Doogee F7 will feature a powerful deca-core Mediatek Helio X20 CPUSONY IMX230 21-megapixel rear camera , Finger Print Scanner etc.. We don’t have exact information on front camera and RAM, but we expect 8-megapixel front shooter and 3GB or 4GB RAM. Doogee F7 will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.

Doogee F7 tech Specs

We have not seen any smartphone so far that comes with Helio X20 CPU, but there are many devices that have been rumored to use this chip in 2016. Mediatek Helio X20 is a 10-core tri-cluster chip; 2x Cortex-A72 @ 2.5GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 @ 2.0GHz, 4x Cortex-A53 @ 1.4GHz. According to its great architecture, you can expect huge improvement in performance compared to Helio X10 chip. Some leaked details suggest that Helio X20 would perform much better compared to Snapdragon 810 and Exynos 7420 CPU.

Doogee F7 Price and Release date

What do you think of a smartphone with such great specs would cost? Doogee F7 will be sold for $169.99. We don’t know the exact date of its launch so far, but it will be launched in early 2016. It would be sold like hot cakes where it is officially available. However, international users may need to pay little more to import from third party online stores.
