Samsung is now renewing its exiting models, and launching many devices with the same model name in 2016. One of them is Galaxy J7 2016 model. Samsung Galaxy J7 2015 features a 5.5 inches HD display, 1.5GB RAM, Snapdragon 615 / Exynos 7580 Chipset. So what do you expect from Galaxy J7 2016?
Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 (SM-J710x) Technical Specifications
Galaxy J7 2016 model has appeared three times on GFXBench (Until January 26). However, its tech specs could make your little confused.
On January 26, Samsung Galaxy J7 showed up with 5.5-inch HD Display (1280 x 720 pixels), 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM, ARM Mali-T830 GPU, 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. It shows the CPU to be 1.7 GHz octa-core, that we expect to be Exynos 7 Octa series. The good news is that the device is running Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
On January 19, it appeared with 5.5 inches Full HD Display (1920 x 1080 pixels), Octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU, Adreno 405 GPU, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM, and Android Lollipop 5.1.1 OS.
On January 20, Galaxy J7 was spotted again. This time it showed up with Exynos 7 Octa CPU (Exynos 7580), ARM Mali-T720 GPU, and rest of the specs remained the same as on January 19.
What do you think about Galaxy J7 2016 specs showed by GFXBench? 2015 model of Galaxy J7 already features the same CPU and GPU (Snapdragon 615 / Exynos 7580) as showed on January 19 and 20. Upgrading RAM as much as twice seems also doubtful. So these 2 reports could possibly be fake.
Now the report showed on January 26 looks relevant that can be trusted. RAM has been upgraded from 1.5GB to 2GB, Android Marshmallow OS is also there, ARM Mali-T830 GPU indicates the CPU upgrade, but the name/model in unknown.
