HTC One X9 was rumored some days ago, but it showed up so quickly. There was rumor that HTC One X9 would feature Snapdragon 820 or Mediatek Helio X20 chipset, 2K Display, 4GB/3GB RAM and so on… However, there is nothing special about HTC One X9 that could make HTC fans happy.
HTC One X9 technical Specifications
HTC One X9 has showed up on Tenaa as they listed the device after certification. Tenaa always list the correct specs, so we can rely on their information. According to Tenaa detail HTC One X9 carries these tech specs;
Display : 5.5 inches
Resolution : 1920 X 1080 pixels
RAM : 2GB
Storage : 16GB internal, expandable with MicroSD card up to 1TB
OS : Android Lollipop 5.0.2
CPU : Octa-core 2.2 GHz Mediatek Helio X10
GPU : PowerVR G6200
Rear Camera : 13-megapixel with dual-LED Flash
Front Camera : 5-megapixel
Note : Tenaa detail shows the CPU as 2.2 GHz with 8 cores, so we expect it to be Mediatek Helio X10, because there is no CPU that comes in this configuration. So the GPU should certainly be PowerVR G6200.
HTC recently launched HTC One A9 that features a mid-range specs, but comes in metal Body and has a Finger Print Sensor, so it costs as much as a high-end smartphone. However, HTC One X9 also carries a great specs, and features metal body, but it lacks Finger Print sensor (guessing from its images as there is no physical button for Home Key, and it’s not at the back as well). So we don’t expect HTC One X9 to cost more than $300. Some users may consider this to be a fancy price, but do remember that HTC phones are usually priced at high compared to other Android Phones with the same specs. A fair price tag should not exceed $200 with such specs.
