Sony introduced Xperia T3 today which is expected to be launched in the 3rd quarter of this year. Sony Xperia T3 looks stylish in terms of design. Let’s know about this new flagship from Sony Mobile.

Display and Design

Sony Xperia T3 is slim, just 7mm thick and weighs 148 grams. This time Sony didn’t use the plastic body. It is wrapped in stainless steel frame that makes it little different. As far as display is concerned, Sony Xperia T3 has 5.3” HD TRILUMINOS™ IPS Display (1280X720p resolution) that can make the video and picture quality better than a normal IPS display. Sony also didn’t miss to use its Mobile Bravia Engine 2 that is a great advantage of buying a Sony smartphone. Brivia Engine 2 helps to make your experience better when you are using your smartphone, watching videos or viewing images. It helps in adjusting colors and noise reduction. This smartphone will be launched in three color: violet, black and white.

Camera

Xperia T3 has a 8MP primary camera with Exmor RS™ sensor (same in Sony Xperia SP ), and 1.1MP front camera that should be enough for making video calls. Using its primary camera video can be recorded in 1080p resolution at 30 frames per second. I won’t say that it has an amazing camera, but it’s really good because I have Sony Xperia SP and I am fine with its camera (after all it’s a mobile not a camera). Apart from HDR and SteadyShot™, Sony has some pre-installed camera apps (Social live, AR effect, Portrait retouch and Timeshift burst) that can make you to play with the camera to make the picture and video perfect.

Hardware and Performance

Sony Xperia T3 has Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, 1.4 GHz Quad-core processor, 1GB RAM, and Adreno 305 graphic. It will be launched with Android 4.4, Kitkat OS. As far as storage is concerned, it has 8GB internal storage ( 5GB available for users ) that can be expanded with a MicroSD card that supports up to 32GB. It has a 2500 mAh battery, but Sony could do better here. Android mobile consumes lots of battery, so needs more power.

There is no information about the price. It’s a mid-range phone, so I the price should be around $450. Sony needs to keep up with the market price against other smartphones available in the market with same kind of specs.
