Create a Word Cloud in a Custom Shape

Turn a list of words into customized word art directly in your browser. Enter words normally or give important terms more emphasis with a value such as Design:10. The generator automatically sizes and arranges the words inside your selected shape.

Choose from 20 shape icons, including a heart, circle, star, cloud, speech bubble, flower, butterfly, car, airplane, rocket, house, tree, paw, cat, apple and light bulb. Selecting an icon creates the word cloud in that custom silhouette rather than using a basic rectangular layout.

Customize Colors, Fonts and Word Placement

Use the built-in color palettes and font choices to match a project, presentation, classroom activity or social post. You can control word rotation, maximum word count and cloud density, remove common words automatically and repeat a short word list to fill the shape more completely.

The transparent-background option is useful for overlays, stickers and designs placed over another image. You can also select a solid background color and shuffle the arrangement until the composition looks right.

Download PNG or SVG and Copy the SVG Code

Download the finished word cloud as a standard, HD or ultra-resolution PNG image. For a scalable design that stays sharp at any size, download the SVG file or copy its SVG code for use in a website or design application. A ready-to-use SVG data URL can also be copied from the export controls.

Generation happens locally in the browser, so the words you enter do not need to be uploaded to the website.
