Galaxy J7 and J5 2016 (SM-J7109,SM-J7108,SM-J5108)
This is not the first time we are talking about Galaxy J7 2016 model, it appeared on GFXBench earlier with full technical specifications. However, detailed showed by GFXBench was quite confusing, because it appeared 3 times with little different specs.
Now Galaxy J7 and J5 2016 model has been certified by Tenaa, and detailed showed by Tenaa should be most accurate. So Let’s know what these 2 models will bring for those looking for a mid-range smartphone.
Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 (SM-J7108 and SM-J7109)
Users must be waiting for a refreshed advanced Galaxy J7 2016 model, so let’s know what it has got.
Samsung Galaxy J7 2016 (SM-J7108) features octa-core 1.6 GHz Exynos 7580 CPU, and SM-J7109 features Snapdragon 615 octa-core CPU (4 x 1.5 + 4 x 1.2). So little upgrade in GHz compared to 2015 model, but Chipset remained the same for both model.
Galaxy J7 2016 both the models SM-J7108 and SM-J7109 feature 5.5 inches Full HD AMOLED Display, 3GB RAM, 16GB ROM (expandable with MicroSD up to 128GB), 13-megapixel rear and 5-megapixel front camera. The new Galaxy J7 models will run Android Lollipop 5.1.1 OS.

Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 (SM-J5108)
Samsung Galaxy J5 2016 model has also been certified by Tenaa, and the certification detail showed the device with the following specs; 5.2-inches HD Display, 2GB RAM, 16GB ROM(expandable up to 64GB with MicroSD), 13MP rear and 5MP front camera etc.. It features the same quad-core 1.2 GHz Snapdragon 410 CPU that is already found in 2015 model. Galaxy J5 and J7 both looks exactly the same from outer side. So there is no difference in design.

Galaxy J7 2016 vs 2015 model
Galaxy J7 2016 has brought some upgraded stuffs compared to 2015 model; Screen Resolution has been upgraded from 720 pixels to 1080 pixels, RAM has been doubled from 1.5GB to 3GB, Processor remained the same but little upgrade in its clock speed. Rest of the specs almost remained the same.
