After Xperia Z4 Sony could present an Edgeless smartphone: Xperia P2

In the mobile market Sony is not as popular as Apple and Samsung, but Sony is also trying hard to attract customers with new design. Sony has been rumored to release Xperia P2 after they launch Sony Xperia Z4. The features of Xperia P2 has leaked, and the leak image suggest that it could be an edgeless smartphone, but not like Samsung Galaxy S6 edge.

Sony Xperia P2 leaked image suggest that it is going to be a smartphone with great design that has almost no edge at its left and right side. These days mobile companies are working on the edgeless smartphone, and this could be the Sony’s first attempt in this era.

If you are curious to know the difference between Xperia Z4 and Xperia P2, hold your horses. I am going to tell you all the differences. The display size and resolution of both the model will remain the same: 5.2 inches IPS Display, 1080 X 1920 pixels resolution (424 pixels per inch). There would be 3 GB RAM in Xperia Z4 as well as Xperia P2, but Xperia Z4 will have 32/64 GB internal storage (expandable with card slot up to 128 GB), and this edgeless smartphone (Xperia P2) has been rumored to have only one model with 32 GB internal storage (no word on microSD card slot).

Front Camera for Xperia Z4 and Xperia P2 will remain the same as 5.1-megapixel, but the rear camera is quite different. Sony Xperia Z4 will have 20.7-megapixel camera, and the Xperia P2 is rumored to have 12.1-megapixel camera. Both the model will have Qualcomm Snapdragon 810 processor with 64-bit support, which is an Octa Core Processor, but the Processor speed could be slightly different.

The great part of this edgeless smartphone is the Battery Power. While Sony Xperia Z4 will have 2930 mAh Battery, Sony Xperia P2 may have 4240 mAh battery that makes it stronger. Xperia P2 is thicker than Xperia Z4 that could be because of the battery power. Xperia P2 is expected to be 8.9 mm to 10.9 mm thick, whereas Xperia Z2 is only 6.9 mm thick.
