Remember BTD5? I really loved playing Bloons Tower Defense 5 back in the day, spending way too much time on it sometimes. It was just awesome fun! Playing it as an extra game on my computer with all these simple towers and monkeys felt perfect.

Then I got to play Bloons Tower Defense 6… Wow!

Honestly, Ninja Kiwi did more than just make a regular sequel; they really improved that great game. Think of BTD5 like your favorite old toy—fun! Now imagine having an upgraded special edition version in the shape of BTD6 with even better things to do.

BTD6 has so much more excitement and energy packed into it, you’ll probably find yourself smiling while playing. It’s still very much about placing towers made by monkeys that use darts (and sometimes boomerangs or ninja stars) to pop bloons before they cause trouble.

But there’s something else special – a whole bunch of different types now! You’ve got Hero Monkeys, your main ones can get better abilities during the game itself. Regular monkey towers have even more ways you can upgrade them and mix it up with lots of crazy combinations available.

And here’s another thing I love about BTD6—there are way more options for what might pop out or go somewhere unexpected as attacks come in later games!

The maps feel much better too; they aren’t just flat lines anymore. There are raised platforms you can use different towers on, and the fun is definitely increased by seeing things from various angles.

Also, since there’s co-op mode available where two other people can join your defense (up to three including yourself), playing with friends online has become a blast! It might be a little hectic or hard at times but that feeling of teamwork against very tough challenges is just super fun. You definitely need friendly help when the real monster rounds kick off!

So, Where Can You Get In on This?

For computer players (PC) out there, you can easily grab BTD6 from Steam. Many people play it this way and sometimes even in tournaments or online leagues. Playing with a mouse feels quite natural for precise tower placement.

What if someone wants to play without Steam? Sometimes people just want to jump right into playing… I know!

There aren’t really any official websites where you can freely log on and play the entire BTD6 game in your web browser like some very old versions could be found. However, we have got this for you on this page. You got it unblocked for you. Now you can play BTD6 online without downloading or using Steam right on this page. But, please note that it may be the old and modified version of the game. So for the latest version, I would recommend to play on Steam if you can.
