InfoSonics has released two new smartphones: Verykool® s5510 and s5511

Verkool S5511 and S5510

InfoSonics is not a well known brand like Apple or Samung, but it launches smartphones at affordable prices, and this month they have released 2 new models: Verykool® S5511 and S5510. These models are not expensive and have a fair price tag according to its technical specifications. So we will know the tech specs of both the models.

Verykool® S5511 and S5510 both the models comes with Android 4.4 OS, but S5510 has 1.2 GHz dual-core processor, and S5511 features a 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor

There is no difference in display size and quality of both the models, and they are equipped with 5.5-inch qHD display with 960 X 540 pixels resolution and have pixels density of 200 ppi.

Both the models come with 4GB ROM, and the storage can be expanded with T-Flash card (up to 32GB). As far as RAM is concerned, S5510 has 512MB RAM, and S5510 features 1GB RAM.

Verykool® S5511 and S5510 both have 8MP rear camera, but S5511 features 2MP, and S5510 features 1.3MP front camera. Both the new models have 3G, bluetooth 4.0, WiFi, WiFi HotsPot, USB 2.0 and supports tethering as well.

The battery could disappoint users as both of them features just 2300 mAh battery which could not be enough for a 5.5 inches smartphone and can’t run the whole day. You may need to charge more than once a day.

So you see that there is not much difference in both the phone, but there are 2 major differences: RAM and CPU, and this is what affect the performance of any smartphone. If you are interested to buy, I will never suggest to go for S5510 model, as 512MB RAM and Dual-Core processor can make you frustrated sometimes. This model will cost you around $150. S5511 is fair enough with 1GB RAM and Quad-core processor, and it will cost you around $165. So you see that paying $15 more should not be a big deal if you want a mobile with good performance.
