xperia sp display bug

The Japanese company Sony has released a system update for Sony Xperia SP. The build number of the last update was 12.1.A..1.201, and this update has the build number as 12.1.A..1.205. if you want to check the version, can simply go to the settings of the phone and tap on the last option you see in setting named as “about phone” and at the bottom of the display you will find the build number.

Don’t be confused about the system update as last time Xperia SP got this build number when the Android OS was updated from v4.1 to 4.3, and we have already heard that Xperia SP will receive Android Kitkat update, but they are still testing. So this is not the Android OS update to Android 4.4, but a system update to fix the display issue.

Although there is no detailed analysis about the update, everything seems to indicate that this update has been released to solve the problems of screen that were detected in certain units of Sony Xperia SP after its upgrade to the version of Android 4.3 Jelly Bean OS. Users who currently have version 12.1.A.1.201 have resulted in several complaints related to display problems that result in annoying flicker that appears randomly while using the device. After the update users also lost the option to capture screenshot, but we published an article earlier that can guide you how you can capture screenshot with Sony Xperia SP.

Even after the Android 4.3 update, Xperia SP has received a couple of updates for its Music Player (Walkman), Video Player (Movies) and the app Album. Now you have the pinch and zoom feature with its video player, and even supports mkv format of videos.

The countries where this update (12.1.A..1.205) is already available are France, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia, Spain and the United Kingdom. Hold your horses if you belong to a different country, you will receive the notification automatically if your Xperia SP is connected to the network, else keep checking manually.
