These days, when users go to buy a smartphone, they care more about the specs than the design. This is why Android mobiles are sold more than other mobiles. Mobile like Lumia looks beautiful in terms of design, but we know Android has more apps and it runs faster than windows OS. This is why people prefer Android to windows, but what when you have multiple operating systems in one smartphone? How does it sound? Right, I am talking about a smartphone which is going to be launched soon. So, let’s know about this mobile.

Geeksphone is going to offer the choice of choosing an OS giving you a Multi-OS mobile. This is going to be the first mobile which will include such features. This smartphone will support dual-boot. You can use your favorite OS (Google  Android), and can switch to Mozilla easily. When you switch on the mobile first time, you will be using Android OS, after that you can simply switch to Boot2Gecko by Mozilla. Like Android updates, you will also receive updates for the alternative OS. The purpose of giving you the Multi-OS mobile is to provide the best user experience and keep you up with the latest technology. Geeksphone is really going to make a difference in the technology world if the phone turns out worthy.

Geeksphone Multi-OS smartphone will be running on Intel® Atom™ Processor. We know that Intel runs on most of the computer, and many mobiles have Intel processor as well. So the performance of this mobile is going to be amazing, but only hands-on experience will confirm where it’s going to stand. Dual-core Intel® Atom™ Processor Z2560 (1.6 GHz) was launched in Q2 2014, and they have used the same processor along with 1GB RAM.

This smartphone will have IPS qHD 4.7” display (960X540) which is the standard size of a touchscreen smartphone with 3 capacitive buttons, but they could have made it better with 1080p though the video capturing supports 1080p @ 30fps. As far as camera is concerned, there will be 8MP primary and 2MP front camera. They have not mentioned anything about the Android OS version. If they are going to use Android Kitkat 4.4, this will rock. It features with 4GB internal memory, and a memory card slot which will support up to 32GB of Micro SD card. In terms of sensors, the smartphone will have G-Sensor, Light/Proximity Sensor and E-Compass.

Geeksphone have not disclosed any release date and the pricing detail so far. Hopefully it will be available at a fair price. They do know the term “Higher price, Lower sale.”
