Samsung seems to be busy testing one after another devices. Earlier we posted an article where Samsung was found testing Lucky-LTE model (Galaxy S7 probably) with Snapdragon 820 and Exynos 8890. Now we have spotted another unknown Samsung smartphone on Geekbench 3 that has been tested with Snapdragon 620. It could probably be Samsung Galaxy A9.

Samsung’s unknown smartphone (suspected Galaxy A9) is running on Android Lollipop 5.1.1, and features an octa-core 64-bit 1.4 GHz, Snapdragon 820 (MSM8976) SoC combined with 3GB RAM. The performance test on Geekbench 3 has been performed on 11 September. It scored 1325 in single-core performance and reaches 4461 in multi-core.

Snapdragon 620 will be combined with Adreno 510 GPU, and it supports 2K display as well. The score really tells how powerful Snapdragon 620 is compared to Snapdragon 615.

We spotted this score report on Weibo. The score should be correct, because we published an article earlier where Snapdragon 620 was tested on Geekbench 3 and it score quite similar to this score.
