Samsung Tab S3

Samsung announced Tab S2 last year in July, and Tab S3 is already getting exposed. Samsung’s 2 new tablets has been exposed one with model number SM-T819 and the other SM-T719. One of them is Tab S3, but which one we will explain.

SM-T819 showed up earlier when it was imported in India, and Zauba listed the device on its website. According to the listing, SM-T719 Tablet would be a mid-range device, and it features a 8 inches display. The listed price on Zauba doesn’t guarantee the actual price of the device, but it indicates at least what it could be.

Samsung SM-T819 tablet also appeared on Geekbench, and it leaked some more detail. According to Geekbench 3 report, SM-T719 features 3GB RAM, octa-core Snapdragon 652 (MSM8976) CPU, and runs Android Marshmallow 6.0.1 OS. In Geekbench 3 performance test, it scored 4122 in multi-core and 1312 in single-core performance.

Considering the display size of Samsung Tab S2 (9.7 inches), we don’t really SM-T719 it is Tab S3.

Samsung Tab S3 SM-T819

There is one more Samsung Tablet that has been tested on GFXBench for its Graphic performance. GFXBench has revealed its tech specs along with 3D Graphic Performance Score. SM-T819 features a 9.6 inches display with 2048 x 1536 pixels resolution, octa-core Snapdragon 652 CPU, Adreno 510 GPU, 3GB RAM, 32GB ROM, 8-megapixel rear camera (GFXBench usually shows less pixels), 2-megapixel front camera, and it also runs Android 6.0.1 OS.

So both the Samsung Tablet SM-T719 and SM-T819 features the same CPU, GPU and RAM, but the display size makes us believe that SM-T819 is Samsung Tab S3. As far as performance is concerned, both the Tablets would perform equally. We don’t know about the other model, but users would get the option to choose little smaller or larger tablet. Samsung has already used Snapdragon 652 in Galaxy A9 2016 model, and now they are ready to use it in next generation Tablets.
