Nokia introduces its latest Smartphone X2

Microsoft unveiled the Nokia X2, a budget smartphone based on Android Operating System, although equipped with personalized services of its competitor “Google.”

This is the second generation of terminals under the brand Nokia that started working with Android lunching its first Android OS based phone Nokia X. Nokia X was presented last February at the Mobile World Congress in Barcelona, and now we have Nokia X2.

Nokia X2 is a low-cost smartphone with a 4.3-inch display and 800X480 pixels resolution. It is equipped with a 5-megapixel rear and a front VGA camera. Nokia X2 features Qualcomm dual-core processor that runs at 1.2 GHz, with 1 GB of RAM and you can insert two SIMcards.

The device works on a “fork” Android, that is a modified version of Google’s operating system, and does not allow access to Google Play Store, but apps and games can be downloaded from anywhere on the web (open source) and can get from Nokia/Microsoft stores as well.

The phone will be sold worldwide in orange, black and green colors from July and will cost around $134. In a statement, Microsoft stressed that the devices of the Nokia X range are the best sellers in Russia, Kenya, Pakistan, Nigeria and India.
