The Chinese Telecom Regulatory Authority has certified a Chinese Smartphone Model NG2 that looks like iPhone 6 as far as design is concerned. The front panel features a round shaped Home Button with no sign of back or option button as we see in many Android devices. The device also has antenna lines located on the top and bottom of the back panel. However, the back panel doesn’t look like iPhone as the camera and LED flash are located at the different place, and also in different shape.

With regard to tech specs, G2 features a 5.5-inch Full HD (1080 X 1920 Pixels) display, 13-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, 2650 mAh battery, 1.5 GHz octa-core processor etc.. It will be sold in 2 variant; 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM. Users will also be able to use MicroSD card to upgrade the storage.

The specs and the design seem to be okay, but the thing you will hate the most is the operating system. When most of the new Smartphones are being launched with Android 7.0 or newer version, NG2 Smartphone would still run Android 5.1 Lollipop. You shouldn’t expect any major OS update for such brands, so you may have t o stick to Android 5.1, or you can try custom Android versions. This model would probably be sold in Chinese market only.
