Along with many other smartphone manufacturers, Lenovo has also announced smartphone with Snapdragon 820 CPU. It’s a great CPU for powerful performance, and this CPU is combined with Adreno 530 GPU that guarantees amazing graphic performance that you can find in any Android device.

The recent 2 smartphones from Lenovo; ZUK Z2 and ZUK Z2 Pro both features almost the same tech specs, but with little difference, like display size and available storage and RAM. We will compare both the Lenovo models with Xiaomi Mi 5.

Display and Resolution

Lenovo ZUK Z2 comes with a 5-inch IPS display compared to 5.2-inch Super AMOLED display in ZUK Z2 Pro and 5.15-inch IPS display in Xiaomi Mi 5. All the models feature the same 1920 x 1080 pixels resolution.

Finger Print Scanner

All three models feature a finger print scanner on front panel. It has been integrated with home button.

RAM and Storage

Lenovo ZUK Z2 features 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM, but ZUK Z2 Pro comes in 2 variant; 4GB RAM + 64GB ROM or 6GB RAM + 128GB ROM. Xiaomi Mi 5 is sold in 3 variant; 3GB RAM + 32GB ROM, 3GB RAM + 64GB ROM and 4GB RAM + 128GB ROM. All three models don’t support MicroSD card.

CPU/Processor, GPU and Operating System

All the models feature Adreno 530 GPU, and a Quad-core Snapdragon 820 CPU (dual-core 2.15 + dual-core 1.6). 32GB Version of Mi 5 is clocked at; dual-core 1.8 GHz + dual-core 1.36 GHz, and rest 2 variant matches Lenovo models clock speed. All the models run Android Marshmallow OS.

Battery and Fast Charging

Lenovo ZUK Z2 features 3000 mAh battery compared to 3100 in ZUK Z2 Pro and 3000 in Xiaomi Mi 5. All the models feature Quick Charge 3.0, and charges almost 83% of the battery in 30 minutes.

Other Specs/features

All the models supports dual-SIM with dual-standby. Xiaomi Mi 5 features Bluetooth 4.2 compared to Bluetooth 4.1 found in rest 2 models. Mi 5 also comes with Gorilla Glass 4 protection that seems to be missing from other 2 models. Mi 5 comes in 4 colors; Black, White, Gold and Ceramic, but both the Lenovo Models can be purchased in 2 colors only; Ceramic White and Titanium Black. ZUK Z2 Pro version comes with heart rate monitor sensor that other 2 models lack.
