Apple’s recent launched iPhone 6s and 6s plus features one of the best cheap in terms of performance and Graphic. Apple A9 is a 1.8 GHz dual-core processor, but it performs like Octa-core. Along with performance, there is no match new iPhones in terms of 3D Graphic Performance. We compared Apple A9 Benchmark earlier as well, but Graphic Performance test was compared and we also have new devices to compare. Today, we will compare iPhone 6s and 6s Plus with Samsung Galaxy S6 and Note 5.

Processors, RAM, GPU and Resolution

iPhone 6 : 1.4 GHz dual-core Apple A8, 1GB RAM, PowerVR GX6450 quad-core GPU, Full HD Display

iPhone 6s and 6s Plus : 1.8 GHz dual-core Apple A9, 2GB RAM, PowerVR GT7600 hexa-core GPU, Full HD Display

iPhone 6s and 6s Plus benchmark comparison

The report has been prepared by PCMag after testing each device. iPhone 6 has the lowest score in terms of multi-core performance, and we already knew that. Samsung Galaxy Note 5 is the winner in Antutu and Geekbench 3 multi-core performance test, and that is all. iPhone 6s and 6s Plus leaves Galaxy S6 behind in each and every test including graphic (except Geekbench 3 multi-core). iPhone 6s and 6s Plus scored much higher compared to all other devices in Graphic Performance test.

Apart from multi-core performance, Galaxy Note 5 failed to compete iPhone 6s and 6s Plus in all other tests. Having 8 core processor gave Note 5 an advantage in multi-core test. Apple has optimized its A9 chip very well that is clearly visible now. Qualcomm’s chipsets were already behind Exynos 7420, and now they need something more powerful to perform better than Samsung’s and Apple’s Chip. Qualcomm has already started optimizing Snapdragon 820, and they just tested Snapdragon 820 V3 version that showed an improvement compared to previous versions.
