Previous version of HTC One M9+ features a 20 MP rear camera plus a secondary 2.1 MP camera. HTC has updated that camera making it 21-megapixel and removed secondary rear camera adding some features; like laser autofocus, OIS etc.. It will be sold for $630 in Taiwan starting from 6 October. The Funny thing is that HTC didn’t even bother to upgrade the OS. All the latest models come with Android 5.1.1 OS these days, but HTC kept the same Android 5.0.2.

Do You Want to upgrade your existing HTC One M9+ to “Supreme Camera” Edition?

We don’t think HTC has released this new version for existing HTC One M9+ users. If yes, they must have upgraded the hardware. HTC has launched this new model for those who didn’t buy HTC One M9+ previously comparing its camera with other high-end smartphones, like LG G4, iPhone 6 or Galaxy S6.

However, if you want to buy HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera edition to have a better camera phone, you can go ahead. Device performance, display and other features will remain unchanged.

HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera Edition Antutu Benchmark

It scored 51336 that is quite close to Snapdragon 808 benchmark score, but Helio X10 can’t beat Snapdragon 808 in terms of 3D graphic performance. Usually devices with Helio X10 chip are not very expensive, but HTC device is exception in this case. Apart from chipset, HTC One M9+ Supreme Camera has everything that you can expect from any high-end smartphone.
