Android One Smartphones started received Android 6.0 Marshmallow update in India

Recently Google released Android 6.0 factory images for Nexus devices, and announced that Nexus 5, Nexus 6, Nexus 7, Nexus 9 and Nexus Player will be updated to the latest version. Android One devices are also Google’s initiative that come for low cost, but Google promises to treat them as they treat Nexus devices. After Nexus, Android One phones have also started receiving Android 6.o updated.

The update weighs around 338 MB, but it’s 445 MB for Karbonn Sparkle V. If you have not received the update we have the factory image link that you can download, and flash it manually. If you don’t want to go for manual option, wait for the OTA update, it should arrive soon.

Make sure your smartphone si charge (50 percent minimum), connect it to WiFi to save money on addition data charge by operator, and check for the update from Settings–>About Device–>Software Update.

Other manufacturers; Sony, LG, HTC, Motorola and Samsung/T-Mobile have also announced the update, but OTA update/Factory Image is still not available. So you need to wait for a couple of weeks.
