YouTube’s Sexual and Nudity Policy Doesn’t Work for Korean Videos
We all know how quickly sexual and pornographic contents are removed from YouTube. According to YouTube Policy, You can’t upload Sexually explicit content. YouTube users are free to report such contents, and they remove them after review. However, Korean Videos are exception in this case. YouTube is full of Sexual videos, and some contents are as good 😉 as Pornhub’s content. Even restricted mode fails to filter many contents, and this is because such contents have never been reported.
A quick look at YouTube’s Sexual and Nudity Policy
Sexually explicit content like pornography is not allowed. Videos containing fetish content will be removed or age-restricted depending on the severity of the act in question. A video that contains nudity or other sexual content may be allowed if the primary purpose is educational, documentary, scientific, or artistic, and it isn’t gratuitously graphic.
YouTube is not for pornography or sexually explicit content. If this describes your video, even if it’s a video of yourself, don’t post it on YouTube. Also, be advised that we work closely with law enforcement and we report child exploitation. You can visit YouTube Policy Page for more information.
Here are some examples
Try these 2 keywords on YouTube “My promotion methods” and “khmer kikilu”
When the restriction mode is on, YouTube does filter many videos, but My Promotion Methods still shows up. Being a good user, you may think of reporting these contents, but how many contents you will report? Each content needs to be reported separately, there is no option to select multiple videos at the same time, and report them.
