Acer has made official announcement of its upcoming Android Smartphone “Predator 6.” This is the first smartphone that will feature deca-core chipset. Predator 6 looks like a gaming smartphone, and also features great hardware.
Acer didn’t confirm what chip it would have, but there is only one chip that we know as deca-core processor, and it’s MediaTek Helio X20. This chip will be launched in December, so Predator 6 should arrive in early 2016. It’s not a true deca-core SoC, but the combination of 2 quad-core and 1 dual-core chip : Dual-Core 2.5 GHz based on Cortex A72+Quad-Core 2.0 GHz based on Cortex A53+Quad-Core 1.4 GHz based on Cortex A53
Acer’s Predator 6 would have 21-megapixel camera and 6-inch display. Acer has not spoken much about the specs, so we need to wait. We expect at least 2K resolution and 4GB RAM from this device.
