OnePlus is getting ready for OnePlus 3, but there is still time. OnePlus One was released in June 2014, and OnePlus 2 was released in August 2015. Following that schedule, we can’t really assume the exact launch date, but it should arrive in June or July of this year. There has been rumor about OnePlus 3 release on April 7, but OnePlus spokesman has confirmed (reported by Android Authority) that April 7 event will be held to focus on China Market, and they will launch a new product “Classic OnePlus.”
OnePlus 3 (OnePlus A3000) Technical Specifications
OnePlus 3 tech specs has been revealed by Antutu, and the technical specifications may still disappoint those looking a sharp resolution, like Galaxy S7 Edge or Vivo XPlay 5. OnePlus 3 would feature a 5.5-inch Full HD Display (1920 x 1080 pixels), 4GB RAM, quad-core Snapdragon 820 CPU, Adreno 530 GPU, 32GB ROM, 4GB RAM, and it will run Android 6.0.1 Marshmallow OS.
OnePlus is also expected to upgrade the camera in the new model. OnePlus 3 may feature a 16-megapixel rear camera, and 8-megapixel front camera. We expect the device to feature USB Type-C port, Quick Charge, and a more powerful battery (around 3600 mAh).
As far as design is concerned, there is rumor that OnePlus 3 may feature almost the same design OnePlus 2 does. However, rumors can’t be taken for granted until we see any leaked images from trusted source.
Many users may not like to buy the device with 1080 pixels resolution. OnePlus X with 5-inch display features the same resolution, and OnePlus really need some upgrade for their smartphone with larger display. We will update as soon as we have more information on it. Stay tuned!
