Moto G turbo edition

Motorola launched Moto G 3rd Generation this year in July with upgraded technical specifications compared to Moto G 2nd Generation, but they have announced even an advanced version of Moto G in Mexico now, known as Moto G Turbo Edition, TheGadgetsFreak reported. Motorola has not confirmed about its international launch, but this model comes with great tech specs that is worth to upgrade your existing Moto G.

Moto G Turbo Edition vs Moto G 3rd Generation

Moto G Turbo edition features a 5 inches 1080 pixels display compared to 5 inches 720 pixels in Moto G 3rd Gen. The design is quite similar with the same dimension, and both the model feature FM Radio, Corning Gorilla Glass 3 protection, 13-megapixel rear camera with Dual-LED flash, 5-megapixel front camera,  2470 mAh battery etc.. However, Moto G Turbo Edition supports faster charging, but 3rd Generation model doesn’t.

Moto G Turbo Edition is water and dust proof (IP67 certified) compared to water resistant feature in Moto G 3rd Generation under IPX7. Moto G 3rd Generation is available in 2 variant; 1GB RAM with 8GB ROM or 2GB RAM with 16GB ROM, but Moto G Turbo Edition features 2GB RAM and 16GB ROM. Both the model supports MicroSD card, but Turbo Edition supports up to 128GB compared to 32GB in Moto G 3rd Generation. The turbo edition model features an octa-core Snapdragon 615 CPU and Adreno 405 GPU compared to quad-core Snapdragon 410 chipset and Adreno 306 GPU in 3rd Generation model.

Moto G Turbo Edition will go on sale from 13 November for $283, whereas Moto G 3rd Generation costs $220. So you are getting a lot for additional $63, but you may need to wait little longer if you are not in Mexico. Moto G Turbo Edition may or may not reach international market, so don’t take it for granted.
