Smartphone manufacturers are listing the devices that would received Android 6.0 Marshmallow update. Earlier we posted an article about Android 6.0 update for HTC smartphones, and now Motorola went ahead to list the devices. Motorola has started working on to release the latest Android Phones and published the list to let the users know if their devices are eligible for update or not.
Android 6.0 Marshmallow update for Motorola Smartphones
Moto X Pure Edition 2014 and 2015 Model
Moto X Play
Moto G 3rd Generation
Motorola Droid Turbo
Moto G 2nd Generation
Motorola Nexus 6
The list is not quite big as Motorola doesn’t launch so many devices. Google is responsible to update Motorola Nexus 6, and that would certainly happen. Google provides the major Android update to each devices those are under 18 months of launch period, and some of them receive it even after 18 months. Once the update in available, nexus users usually receive it within 2 week, and sometimes it also gets delayed depending on your carrier and country. You can check the update manually going to Settings–> About Phone–> System updates

If you don’t know which generation of device you are using, you can simply tap on Settings –> About Phone. Check the model number, it would show the model number as well generation (2nd Generation/3rd Generation). If you are the owner of first generation, it won’t show anything except model name.
This time Moto E users are not in luck. Moto E first as well as 2nd Generation both received Android Lollipop update, but it seems that was the last update.
