Motorola fans must be waiting for Moto G 3rd generation, but Motorola is going to throw cold water on their excitement. According to leaks Motorola’s Moto G 3rd generation will not see any impressive hardware upgrade in comparison to Moto G 2nd generation.
The display size and the resolution will remain the same in Moto G 3rd generation : 5 inches display with 1280 X 720 pixels resolution. No change in RAM and internal storage : 1GB RAM and 8GB Internal storage. You will see slightly upgraded chipset and camera that will boost the performance somehow. Moto G 3rd generation will be coming with 64-bit Snapdragon 410 chipset, 13-megapixel rear camera and 5-megapixel front-facing camera.
3rd generation of Moto G will feature latest Android OS 5.1.1 Lollipop, and the battery will have little more power than its predecessor (2300 mAh). The back of the Moto G 3rd generation looks grippy that will have less chance to slip through users’ hands.
However, this is not what uses expected from Moto G (3rd gen). The expectation was the improvement in resolution featuring 1080 X 1920 pixels, 2GB RAM, better chipset. Motorola might have some other plan in their mind. When Motorola was with Google, Android updates were also fast, but now it takes too long to receive Android updates. Motorola seems to be losing track once again.
