Huawei recently launched Mate 8, and it arrived with almost the same specifications that was rumored. It became the first smartphone to feature Kirin 950 Chipset, but users also expected a display with 2K resolution that didn’t happen.
There is one more Huawei smartphone that is expected to arrive next year, and it has been rumored to feature better tech specs compared to Huawei Mate 8. We hope you have understood. Yes, It’s Huawei P9.
Huawei P9 Benchmark, Technical Specifications and Release Date
We have spotted an unknown Huawei Smartphone that has gone through Geekbench 3 test on 23rd December. This unknown model could be Huawei P9. It showed up with Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS, 4GB RAM, and octa-core CPU that is clocked at 1.8 GHz. It scored 1775 in single-core performance and 6419 in multi-core performance. The benchmark score matched Kirin 950 Benchmark. Kirin 950 in Huawei Mate 8 features octa-core CPU, where 4 cores are clocked at 1.8 GHz and another 4 are clocked at 2.3 GHz.
According to recent rumors and leaks, Huawei P9 would feature a 5.2 inches display with 2560 x 1440 pixels resolution, 4GB RAM, Kirin 950 CPU, Mali-T880 MP4 GPU, Finger Print Sensor and it will run Android 6.0 Marshmallow OS.
Earlier Mobile-Dad reported that Huawei P9 would feature dual-rear camera based on a leak picture. This is not a new thing for the company. Huawei Honor 6 Plus was launched in 2014 that features 8-megapixel dual rear camera. Front shooter would remain 8-megapixel.
However, don’t take 2K display for granted in case of Huawei P9, because it’s still a compact device. Huawei didn’t use 2K resolution even in its high-end Huawei Mate 8, but Huawei P9 Max may have this. Huawei P9 Max is also in rumor that is expected to arrive with the same specs as Huawei P9, but the display size is expected to be 6.2 inches, and this could be the first Huawei Smartphone to feature 2K display.
Huawei P9 is expected to release in March 2016. This is when Samsung is also expected to release its Galaxy S7 series smartphones.
