Update : Huawei Mate 8 is officially announced
Huawei has released a latest teaser image that to tell the world that Huawei Mate 8 is on its way. This teaser poster suggest that Huawei Mate 8 would be launched on 26 November. Along with Huawei Mate 8, we also expect Huawei to debut its Kirin 950 chipset. Kirin 950 was spotted earlier on Geekbench 3 with much better benchmark score compared to Exynos 7420 and Snapdragon 820. If that leaked score turned out real, Kirin 950 Would be one of the best Chip you can find in any Android phone.
Huawei Mate 8 Technical Specifications
Huawei Mate7 was released last year in October with Kirin 925 Processor, 2GB/3GB RAM and 6 inches display. Huawei Mate 8 would be launched with better specs to replace its predecessor. In terms of technical specification, we expect Huawei Mate 8 to feature 6 inches 2K display, Kirin 950 Chipset, 3GB/4GB RAM. 32GB/64GB/128GB internal storage (expandable with MicroSD card), 16-megapixel rear camera with OIS and dual-LED flash, 8-megapixel front shooter, Finger Print sensor etc.. It will be wrapped in Metal body, and will support dual SIM. Users will have the option to use One SIM with MicroSD card or two SIM cards, because MicroSD card would use one of the SIM Slot like Huawei Mate7.
Huawei Mate 8 is expected to feature a force touch display, just like Huawei did in case of Huawei Mate S. Force Touch is a new feature that every user would expect when they buy any high-end smartphone in 2016. All the manufactures are getting ready to use pressure sensitive or Force Touch Display in their phones now. Synaptics has also announced its Clear Force Technology that would be used in upcoming smartphones, Samsung and Xiaomi has already been rumored to use this technology in Samsung Galaxy S7 and Xiaomi Mi 5.
As far as pricing is concerned, the base model of Huawei Mate 8 is expected to be sold for 3,299 Chinese Yuan, that is roughly $520. According to storage capacity and RAM price would vary.
