Two mid-range smartphones, GIONEE GN3001 and ZTE C880D have went through Tenaa Certification on April 11. They have listed the device with its full tech specs and image

GN3001 is the code number only, but we are not sure what model it could be. This device has better specs compared to ZTE C880D. Gionee GN 3001 features a 5.3-inch HD Display (1280 X 720 pixels), 3GB RAM, 32GB (can be upgraded with MicroSD, up to 128GB), Finger Print Scanner, 2900 mAh battery, and it runs Android Lollipop 5.1 OS. As far as camera combination is concerned, it features 16-megapixel primary and 8-megapixel secondary camera. The device appeared on Tenaa with 1.5 GHz octa-core processor, and this could be Mediatek MT6753.

With regard to design, Gionee GN3001 features full metal body frame, Finger Print Scanner is located on rear panel. The device features 149.9×72.2×7.9 mm dimension and weighs 163 grams.

ZTE C880D

ZTE C880D

ZTE C880D has been wrapped in plastic body, features 142×70.2×8.9 mm dimension and weighs 137 grams. Speaker and Finger Print Scanner is located on Back Panel.

It features a 5-inch HD display, 2GB RAM, 8GB ROM (supports MicroSD, up to 128GB), 2800 mAh battery, 8-megapixel rear camera, 8-megapixel front camera, Finger Print Scanner etc.. This model also runs Android Lollipop 5.1 Operating System, and it features 1.3 GHz Quad-core Processor. We expect the processor to be Mediatek MT6735.

The specs of ZTEC880D puts it somewhere between low-end and mid-range phone, because these days mid-range phones come with much better specs, especially when it is coming from a Chinese Smartphone Manufacturer. However, Price tag of this model will decide where it fits.
