BenQ kept a mum for a long time, now back in the smartphone game. BenQ has introduced two smartphones: BenQ F5 and BenQ T3. Both the models are running on Android 4.4.2 Kitkat Operating System, and BenQ has its Q users interface to customize the phone. These are the mid-range smartphones, and you can even say the BenQ T3 is entry level.
BenQ F5 features a 5 inches HD display with 1280X720 pixels resolution, that is far better than BenQ F3. Camera remained the same like it was in BenQ F3: Primary 13 megapixels and 2 megapixels front facing, but this time with Sony Exmor Sensor.
As far as memory is concerned, it is it equipped with 1 GB RAM, and for internal storage, users have the option to choose either 16 Gb or 8 GB, depending on their needs, but the storage can also be expanded with the MicroSD card.
BenQ has taken care of its hardware according to the price. BenQ F5 has a Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset. For power, it has a 2520 mAh battery. BenQ F5 is available in two colors: Black and White. This smartphones has a price tag of 7,990 TWD (around $268).
At first I will talk about the features which is the same as in BenQ F5.
> OS will remain the same Android 4.4.2 Kitkat for both the models as well as user interface as I said earlier.
> The processor, chipset and RAM remains intact: Qualcomm Snapdragon 400 chipset, Quad-core 1.2 GHz processor and 1 GB RAM.
The main difference between these two devices are the display, camera and the storage. BenQ T3 has a 4.5-inch display with 960X540 pixels resolution. This model features a 8 megapixels rear and 0.3 megapixels front facing camera.
For storage, BenQ T3 has 4GB internal storage, and of course you can not use 4GB as there will be system files as well. So, both the models have MicroSD card slot, so the storage can be expanded with it and it supports up to 64 GB.
BenQ T3 comes with a 1840 mAh battery, and users also have the option to choose a yellow color of this model. BenQ T3 costs 6,990 TWD (around $234).
Both the model supports 4G LTE network, but these models are available for Taiwan only at this time, and BenQ has said nothing about selling these models from other countries.
