Android 4.4.3 update brought more bugs than fixes
A few days ago, we informed the arrival of the Android 4.4.3 KitKat Update. This is a new version that is intended to replace Android 4.4.2 KitKat and repair certain inherited errors of former editions. In fact, some of the most serious problems were aboard with the Nexus devices. After upgrading to Android 4.4.2 KitKat , users began to notice that autonomy is reduced considerably and experienced persistent weaknesses in the area of connectivity. Well, it seems that the update to Android 4.4.3 KitKat has corrected some of these problems, but has brought many others for the owner of the Nexus devices. So much so that those who have tried it, they say that the update brought more problems than fixes.
What failures it actually consist of? At first, the bugs in this new version would be affecting all Nexus devices that are in the market today and have been able to upgrade to this version. This includes the Nexus 4 that experienced a random reboot bug after the upgrade which should have been solved, but now has added some problems in the WLAN settings and screen brightness. The Nexus 7 and Nexus 10 now have problems with excessive drainage of autonomy. Users of these terminals also have detected errors in the notification system. The device that has turned out the worst is the Nexus 5. So far, this device from Google has reproduced many bugs since upgrading to Android 4.4.2 KitKat. Well, with this new version, the owners of Nexus 5 now experiencing errors accessing Google Play, the app store for Android, and the e-mail system and the GPS navigation got the bugs as well.
It is true that after each update firmware new bugs and errors are fixed or patched in later arise. Luckily, being Nexus devices, developed exclusively for Google, users should have available a solution in a short period of time. At the moment, Google has made no statement about it. We don’t have any updates if the Google Play Edition of Samsung Galaxy S4, HTC One and HTC One M8 (which have also received KitKat Android 4.4.3 update) have experienced a fault. We hope a new patch to appear soon.
However, it should be noted that the Google I/O will take place from June 25-26 in San Francisco. They might present Android 4.5 lollipop. They should be fixing the bugs first what people are experiencing with Android 4.4.2 and 4.4.3, because all the users will not have the opportunity to get the latest version of the Android what Google will release, though some of the users get it, will have to wait for long.
If you have experienced any of these problems after updating your device to Android 4.4.3 KitKat, You can share it in the comments section.
