We already knew that the monster tech specs of Redmi Note 2 in lower price will boost the sale like anything, and this is what happened. Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 was up for flash sale in China on 16 August, and it sold 800,000 units in 12 hours only.
Redmi Note 2 and HTC One M9+ features the same chip, but HTC One M9+ is 4 times more expensive than Redmi Note 2. So the lower price is the primary reason that the device is sold like hot cakes.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 2 is out of stock now, and will be available again on 24 August. The stock won’t last longer that day as well, because of the great rush.
Just to remind, Redmi Note 2 features Octa-core 64-bit MediaTek Helio X 10 chipset that runs at 2.0/2.2 GHz speed, 2GB RAM, 16/32 GB eMMC 5.0 storage, 13MP Primary and 5MP secondary camera, 3060 mAh Battery etc..
